When people are barbecuing they often share this on social media. People often share photos or videos of their perfect grilled steak or show their followers the nice time they have with their friends.

A lot of these people are using a Weber grill or accessories while grilling. However, a lot of their followers do not recognize the brand or the fact that the products used are Weber products.

Weber asked vandenbusken to come up with a solution to reach brand awareness on social media, with a limited budget. Besides of the budget there were no limitations! With the solution we also needed to reach people which could not be reached via existing communication channels used by Weber.

We decided to find a long-term solution to reach a lot of people using all these micro-influencers. Since the budget was limited we were not able to reach out to them personally or to sponsor them. That’s why we decided to create funny Weber-branded GIPHY stickers, which they could add to the content they shared with their followers.

Weber stickers are now available to share on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Whatsapp and several other social media channels. As a result millions of people did get in touch with the Weber brand via their friends. Even on channels where Weber isn’t active by itself.
